Joyous Holidays

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'll be working on the edits for my new book THE VIOLIN for a few more weeks and then I'll be working on another episode in the Valmora series, THE LIGHT OF VALMORA. I'm really excited about getting back with the McKnights and the Royal Fionns as they fight against evil. Peregrine and Falcon McKnight find themselves in Valmora with danger drawing ever closer. To complicate things even more, they find they are both taken by the beauty of Izabelle the gypsy girl grown into a woman. The witch, Mahara, is back and she is more determined than ever to get Raven, the patriarch of the McKnight family, back under her spell. Stayed tuned.

FANTASY THEME DAY

We all had a great time at Fantasy Theme Day on the reader's loop at New Concepts Publishing this past weekend. I enjoyed co-hosting with Donna Grant. She was wonderful--led me through the whole process with patience and forbearance. I really appreciate her grace under pressure. I enjoyed all the excerpts from the authors who participated and their support in joinging us. If you weren't there, you missed out on all the fun. Oh yes, and there were lots of cool prizes,too. If you haven't joined the reader's loop at NCP, you should give it a try. I have a link that will get you there.

I'm working on THE VIOLIN right now and almost finished. It's about a woman who goes back in time to save a man who died in two foot of water in 1927. But it might just be her who is saved in a way she never imagined.'
After that, I'm back to the Valmora series with THE LIGHT OF VALMORA. Brothers feud over a beautiful gypsy woman and Pennytook's life takes an upward turn.

I am so excited. LAKE OF SORROWS is available now at New Concepts Publishing. Hawk meets his match with Emma. You'll be reaquainted with some characters from THE DARK ISLE. I can't seem to let go of Raphael and his love for Rose, the human, or Pennytook and his wonderful gypsy insight and logic. I hope you will love these characters as I do and enjoy the second book in the Valmora Series.

Happy Fourth of July everybody.
In a few minutes I'm going to celebrate by going out on the deck and playing America the Beautiful on my violin. If I feel really frisky, I might even break out the bagpipes and play a tune and watch my neighbors run for cover. :-)

THE DARK ISLE Rescheduled

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting my website. THE DARK ISLE has been rescheduled for the second week in June. Mother's Day

To all of you who are mothers, I wish you a happy mother's day tomorrow. Though my mother has been on the other side of "The Big Tomorrow" for many years, I miss her every day. I know most of you will all have your children gathered round to celebrate in your honor this special day. My best to you.

Delay in Release of THE DARK ISLE

There's been a delay in the release of THE DARK ISLE perhaps due to some last minute edits and cover art at New Concepts Publishing. They're just a bit behind but I hope things will move along soon and the cover art will be up for you to see and my book will be ready for sale. I appreciate your patience and hope that you'll come back and visit.

As far as I know THE LAKE OF SORROWS will still be available in August.

Lake of Sorrows

I thought you might like to know that LAKE OF SORROWS will be released in August. It's the second in the Valmora series. Hawk is trying to save his brother, Peregrine, from a fatal curse and win the cautious heart of Dr Emma Dawson. He may have set his sights just a little too high.

Meanwhile, in the first book, DARK ISLE, Prince Gabriel struggles to survive his imprisonment on the Dark Isle with the help of his enemy's daughter. His brother, Prince Raphael is gathering his band of brave warriors to rescue Gabriel from the witch of the Dark Isle and win the heart of the unwilling human, Rose. Can either of these royal brothers manage to succeed and, if they don't, what will become of their homeland of Valmora?

I am happy to announce the release date for THE DARK ISLE is
May 5th.

I wanted everyone to know that THE DARK ISLE has been contracted to New Concepts Publishing, Inc. I couldn't be happier. This is the first book in a series about the wonderful winged Nimway of Valmora who battle against the dark forces of the witch, Mahara, Queen of the Dark Isle. Blurb and Excerpts are soon to come. I don't have the release date yet for DARK ISLE and the release date for LAKE OF SORROWS will most likely change as well.

Hello and Welcome

Hello to all who entered my website. I’m glad you came. My book THE LAKE OF SORROWS will be coming out soon. May 5th. I hope you take a look at it.
I’d like to introduce you to my kids, Kate the Golden Retriever and Acorn and Liberty my two feline children.
I’ve spent most of my life writing stories. I love it. I love paper and pencils and pens and everything having to do with writing. I did smell the ink on those print outs back in grade school. It could have shorted out my brainwaves or something. (*_*) I’ve published five short stories, all of them sweet little fantasy and sci-fi stories.
Come back and visit me again and we’ll chat a while.
